Our most popular service. Here is what you can expect of your home inspection experience:
The inspector will come out to the home and perform a thorough inspection of all components of the home, including exterior and foundation, roof, interior finishes and appliances, heating and air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing. The inspector will look at the home as well as any other accessible structures on the property, such as garages and sheds. Our inspections meet or exceed the Standards of Practice for inspectors set forth by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors.
At this time, the inspector will perform any additional services you choose, such as a mold test, radon test, and/or lead-based paint testing.
The inspector will take notes and photos as he completes the inspection. Once the inspection is complete, he will briefly share his findings with you and show you important areas of the home. Please feel free to ask about anything you see!
Finally, the inspector will draft an extensive report based on his findings. This report will include photos as well as recommendations for repairs and/or improvements base on the condition of the home. You and your real estate agent will receive a copy of this report no later than 24 hours after the completion of the inspection (though we often are able to send them more quickly). We utilize ReportHost software to ensure that you have access to the complete report quickly and coveniently!
Your inspector is available after the inspection for any follow-up questions you may have.
